The Grand Vitara spans three chip eras — Texas 4C on the 90s trucks, Philips ID46 from 2002, and remote-head ID46 keys (FCC KBRTS003) on 2008–2013 models. The SX4 (2006–2013) runs ID46 with OEM blade 37145-55JA0, and the Kizashi uses an ID46 smart-entry system (PCF7952). The Equator pickup is secretly a Nissan Frontier — its keys follow Nissan conventions, which we also service daily. Whatever the badge history, we confirm by VIN and arrive with the right blank.

The Daewoo Twist: Forenza, Reno, Verona

Here’s the money-saver most owners don’t know: the 2004–2008 Forenza and Reno were built by Daewoo and use a plain DW04R blank — the same keyway as a Chevy Aveo, with no chip at all. If someone quotes you transponder-programming money for a Forenza key, walk away. It’s a precision cut, done in minutes, at commodity-key prices.
