DFW Keys 4 Cars

DFW Keys 4 Cars – Mobile Suzuki Locksmith

Suzuki left the US car market in 2013, which makes dealer key support scarce — but Grand Vitaras, SX4s and Kizashis are still everywhere in DFW. We stock and program Suzuki transponder keys and remotes at your location, 24/7. Call (214) 717-6398.

Why Suzuki Keys Require the Right Equipment

US Suzukis span four chip families — Texas 4C, 4D65/4D66, and Philips ID46 — plus a twist: the Daewoo-built Forenza and Reno use no chip at all (a simple DW04R blank shared with the Chevy Aveo). Knowing which is which saves you money: a Forenza key is a quick cut, while a Kizashi smart-entry key needs full ID46 programming. We confirm by VIN and bring the right blank the first time.

The Orphan-Brand Advantage (Ours, Not the Dealer’s)

Suzuki left the US car market in 2013, and the dealer network — and its key desks — went with it. That leaves tens of thousands of Grand Vitaras, SX4s and Kizashis in DFW with nowhere official to go for a key. Unofficially, they have us: we stock the blanks, carry the chip families, and cut and program Suzuki keys at your location like the brand never left.

Grand Vitara, SX4, Kizashi, Equator

The Grand Vitara spans three chip eras — Texas 4C on the 90s trucks, Philips ID46 from 2002, and remote-head ID46 keys (FCC KBRTS003) on 2008–2013 models. The SX4 (2006–2013) runs ID46 with OEM blade 37145-55JA0, and the Kizashi uses an ID46 smart-entry system (PCF7952). The Equator pickup is secretly a Nissan Frontier — its keys follow Nissan conventions, which we also service daily. Whatever the badge history, we confirm by VIN and arrive with the right blank.

The Daewoo Twist: Forenza, Reno, Verona

Here’s the money-saver most owners don’t know: the 2004–2008 Forenza and Reno were built by Daewoo and use a plain DW04R blank — the same keyway as a Chevy Aveo, with no chip at all. If someone quotes you transponder-programming money for a Forenza key, walk away. It’s a precision cut, done in minutes, at commodity-key prices.

Suzuki Key FAQ

The dealer is gone — can I still get a real key for my Suzuki?

Yes. Blanks and chips for the US Suzuki range remain available through professional locksmith supply, and we carry the common ones on the truck.

My Grand Vitara key won’t start the car but opens the doors.

Classic dead or unprogrammed transponder — the blade fits, the chip doesn’t answer. We diagnose whether it’s the chip, the antenna ring, or the immobilizer, then fix the right one.

Is my Suzuki key chipped or not?

Depends on the model: most are (4C/4D/ID46 by era), but Daewoo-built sedans aren’t. Call (214) 717-6398 with your model and year and we’ll tell you in ten seconds.
