Toyota’s immobilizer evolved through four transponder families — Texas 4C on 90s cars, the 4D67 “dot” chip, the DST80 “G” chip, and today’s 128-bit “H” chip — before the Smart Key System brought push-to-start proximity fobs. Each family needs different programming procedures, which our equipment covers end to end.
On the RAV4 specifically, the immobilizer families we see are: Texas 4C (non-crypto), Texas 4D67 “Dot” (DST40), DST80 “G” (4D72), DST-AES “H” (HYQ14FBA), DST-AES (AA) (HYQ14FBC / HYQ14FLA).
